This is often referred to as a Longest Night Service as it is usually held around Winter Solstice which is when the earth is tilted the furthest from the sun, and in the Northern Hemisphere marking the day with the least amount of daylight and thus the longest night of "darkness". There are times in our lives that seem like the darkest of winters. We know that suffering is part of the human condition, but death, illness, loss of relationships, and a complete lack of peace on earth can make us forget God’s steadfast faithfulness. If that speaks to your life this year, The Service of Hope and Comfort is a meaning, healing opportunity to pause and reflect. Please join us and invite anyone you know that might find this service helpful.
